CONSPIRACY THEORY - Episode 4: The Case of the Philadelphia Experiment

Lei & Kelvin

Time travel, bodies inside out, and the ultimate prank...

The Philadelphia Experiment is a conspiracy theory surrounding the supposed disappearance of the USS Eldridge at the Philadelphia Naval Base in 1943. According to the theory, The US Navy was working on ways to cloak a battleship from Nazi forces during WWII and “successfully” caused the ship to be rendered invisible for a period of about ten minutes. After the ship reappeared, many of the crew members were embedded in the ship’s equipment and some were even turned inside out, while others disappeared and were missing entirely. Despite the massive amount of casualties and sailors lost or injured, the “success” of the experiment led to further exploration of the phenomena that allowed the ship to disappear and some of it's occupants to time travel, leading up to the infamous Montauk Experiment.
